It’s the little things that bring joy ~

Spending 2022 exploring my B-brained creative side has been weird but fun.

Finding an interactive ‘snow’ image for my website’s front page was super fun today.

Publishing another episode in my Kindle Vella #RoadTripToNoWhere felt good

Creating a dozen TikToks so I don’t have to do it everyday felt productive

I’m also creating some digital art for ETSY, which to be honest, is not as fun, but we’ll see if the YouTube advice givers are telling the truth. Social experiment …. try everything once, twice if you like it. With ETSY … I don’t really do anything with it which could be why … well, you see 1 sale. That was my friend Lynn. 🙂 She bought something ~ the rest? I like to paint but have nowhere to store it so? I sell it.

BOOKS ARE KICKING IT UP A NOTCH

ART IS KICKING IT UP A NOTCH

TRAUMA INFORMED LIFE COACHING ~ CREATING A BOOK THAT’LL BE READY FOR 2023 RELEASE

WHEN WE CONSCIOUSLY CHOOSE TO LEVEL UP, WE HAVE TO LET EVERYTHING GO THAT’S NOT PART OF THAT JOURNEY.

The joy is in the painting more than the selling of the painting. It’s always been that way for me. Money is good though.

As long as you do no harm but don’t have to take any shite.

Writing past 40K words in Kindle Vella as @LonerWriter is a celebration. I may have a full novel by Christmas … ready to launch into the new year. That’s the plan anyway.

I ditched Twitter. I never liked it … it was a place where too many people thrived by being toxic and cruel. No thank you. + Elon is destroying thousands of people’s livelihoods and jobs right before the holiday season … what a schmuck! He’s laughing at it so that makes it that much worse.

Okay writers …. back to work now.

In the remains of the day, ask yourself if you stayed focused on the things that bring you joy, felt right, and gave you satisfaction in the work. If the answer is yes … it was a very good day.
